Jerome Buzenet (DFDL Partner and Vietnam Managing Director) was invited as a speaker at a seminar held at the Park Hyatt Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City on 27 May 2019 as part of ANZ Customer Tour – Mekong and Singapore, a visit of a delegation of ANZ customers’ organized by ANZ. Jerome joined the panel discussion “Doing Business in Vietnam and the Greater Mekong” along with Rufus Pinto (CEO, ANZ Laos), David Whitehead (AusCham Vietnam) and Dr. Nguyen (KPMG). Jerome provided the audience with insights and shared DFDL’s experience on doing business in the Mekong Region. The topics included topics such as attractions and challenges of each country, the foreign ownership restrictions, ease of doing business and compliance, employment and tax. The delegation was particularly interested in Jerome’s highlights of the business opportunities for investors and traders from Australia and New Zealand in the core countries that DFDL covers. All this was further discussed after the seminar in side discussions.
